“Alien. Earth”: Faced with extraterrestrials, are robots humanity’s only hope?

The most terrifying aliens in space are back. Released August 13, 2025, on Disney+, the series "Alien. Earth" pits humanity against the indestructible Xenomorph and its kin. But also against the creation of new androids. The series has been very well received by the American press, which highlights its inspiration.
Barely out of hibernation in his cryogenic capsule, one of the crew members of the Maginot spaceship lights a cigarette. This shows how unsanitized space in Alien: Earth is. In this respect, the series released on Disney+ on August 13th follows the codes of the famous franchise, launched by Ridley Scott in 1979. Another element of legacy is that in this near future (the action takes place in 2120), multinationals have replaced states as world powers, points out the Los Angeles Times . And the crew of the Maginot , in the pay of one of them, Weyland-Yutani, “arrives at the end of a sixty-five-year mission [and] brings extraterrestrial specimens back to Earth.”
Given the cargo ship in question – Alien fans will quickly recognize the Xenomorph and its variations, but it also includes some unsavory new features – the worst was already to be expected. In murky circumstances, Morrow (Babou Ceesay), a human augmented with electronic implants, is the only one to survive the crash of the Maginot , in the middle of the city of “New Siam”, a territory controlled by the multinational Prodigy and its CEO in a bathrobe, Boy Kavalier (Samuel Blenkin), a 22nd century tech genius and the 'youngest billionaire' of all time – just seeing this presentation, I had only one
